Pictures of the Installation

Remove the trim strip covering the glove box screws.

Remove the 2 screws holding the glove box.

Locate the large rubber grommet behind the glove box.

Using a coat hanger or other object, poke a hole in the grommet. It helps if you use something to poke the hole and then enlarge it (like a screw driver) before trying to shove all the wires through. Be careful not to damage the wiring harness that is already there. To make it a little easier, get a spray bottle with a solution of mildly soapy water. Spray the boot as you are pulling the harness through and it should come through with ease.

Bundle all the WOT Box wires EXCEPT the 18 AWG BLACK wire and pull them through the grommet. Use minimal force when pulling the wires through so that you don't pull the grommet out of the firewall.

Leave enough of the harness in the passenger compartment to make the WOT Box easy to get to, but not an excessive amount.

Cover the wiring harness with split loom tubing in the engine compartment for protection. Route the harness behind the heat shields to prevent it from melting from the intense heat from the turbo. Be careful to route the harness away from sharp objects and crush points. Secure the harness with the provided zip ties.

Route the harness all the way to the ECU.

Locate the 1Y    Grey    Accelerator Pedal Position wire and carefully strip back some of its insulation. Be sure not to break the wire. Connect the 18 AWG BLUE wire from the WOT Box to the  1Y    Grey    Accelerator Pedal Position sensor wire. Solder the connection and cover with electrical tape.

Locate the 1D    Black/Yellow    Clutch Pedal Position Switch wire and carefully strip back some of its insulation. Be sure not to break the wire. Connect the 18 AWG GREEN wire from the WOT Box to the 1D    Black/Yellow    Clutch Pedal Position Switch wire. Solder the connection and cover with electrical tape.

Locate the 2W    White/Red    Crank Position sensor wire and carefully strip back some of its insulation. Be sure not to break the wire. Connect the 18 AWG YELLOW wire from the WOT Box to the 2W    White/Red    Crank Position sensor wire. Solder the connection and cover with electrical tape.

Locate the following connector (NAME?) and unplug it.

Locate the GREEN / BLUE / GREY spotted wire shown below.

Cut the wire and strip it back about 5/8".

Split apart about 6" of the 16 AWG RED / BLACK wire from the WOT Box. Strip the ends of the wire and slide two pieces of provided heat shrink tubing over the wires.

Connect the 16 AWG RED wire to the side of the GREEN / BLUE / GREY spotted wire that is going away from the connector. Connect the 16 AWG BLACK wire to the side of the GREEN / BLUE / GREY spotted wire that is going towards the connector as shown. (Note: I had to photoshop this picture because II did it backwards during the install. If someone could retake this picture when they do their install and send it to sales@n2mb.com, I would appreciate it.)

Solder the connection and use the provided heat shrink tubing to cover the connection. Tape up the harness and reconnect the connector.

This completes the engine compartment portion of the installation. Secure any wires, replace any covers and remove any tools left behind from the engine bay.

Back in the passenger compartment, remove the trim on the right side of the passenger foot well to expose the following ground location.

Using the provided ring terminal, attach the 18 AWG BLACK wire from the WOT Box to this ground connection. You can cut the black wire to about 3', but be sure to leave enough wire so that the harness will have enough slack to make the WOT Box accessible in the glove box once reinstalled. Be sure to crimp the ring terminal connection solidly and solder if possible.

Pop out the access panel in the back of the glove box and route the wiring harness through there. Reinstall the glove box. The installation is complete.
